Arid regions are located in areas affected by the rain shadow effect, so it's really dry. It rains barely 10 inches per year, and some areas don't even receive a inch of precipitation per year. Because of that reason, a lot of people think there is only summer acting as only season in arid region, but they actually have winter also. In the summer time, the temperature increases up to 115 degrees during the day. However at night, the temperature goes down to 60 degrees which is way better than 115 degrees and even chilly. As I introduced in the beginning, arid regions have warm winters. During the winter, it goes up to 80 degrees as maximum in the afternoon and 45 degrees as minimum during night time. By looking at the number, you might think it's not that hot, but think about it; the highest temperature that human can survive is around 115 degrees.
