- Coyote
- Coyotes are omnivores, so they can eat most of the food that they encounter. They're not very picky eaters, so if one of these canines are really really hungry and a pet cat or dog comes their way, Fluffy or Rover better run for its life.
- Coyotes aren't picky about what they call home. A simple burrow in the ground will do. Some coyotes make their dens beneath trees and bushes.

- Roadrunner
- Omnivore-Roadrunners eat snakes, lizards, bugs, mice, plants and fruits, and even other birds. This strange diet provides them with the moisture and nutrients they need.
- The roadrunners streaky, dappled feathers let it blend into the surroundings. The irregular pattern may also break up its outline.
- Have you watched the cartoon with Wil E. Coyote and Roadrunner? There is some truth to it; to catch prey and to escape predators, these birds can run extremely fast, thanks to their long legs. If needed, they can fly.
